- Wholesale Terms -
Order Processing and Payment
• All items are handmade to order. Each piece is uniquely crafted at the Bumble and Birch studio in Reidsville, NC.
• To initiate a wholesale order or re-order with Bumble and Birch, the Customer may order via email at info@bumbleandbirch.com, via Faire Wholesale (https://faire.com/direct/bumbleandbirch) , or the Bumble and Birch Wholesale website.
• Invoices will be created via the Customer’s preferred service. Invoices must be paid in-full on or before the scheduled shipping date. If the invoice has not been paid by the scheduled shipping date, the order will be dispatched within 1 business day of receipt of payment.
• Orders are typically processed within 11-14 days, but may vary throughout the year.
• If the Customer requires an order to be expedited, please let Bumble and Birch know the desired delivery date when the order is placed, and we will do our best to accommodate.
• If custom items are ordered, processing time may increase depending on the quantity requested.
Shipping/Handling/Delivery
• The Customer is responsible for all sales tax (if applicable), shipping, and shipping insurance charges. Most orders ship via USPS or UPS, and will ship from the Bumble and Birch studio.
• If the Customer requires the use of a specific shipping carrier, please notify Bumble and Birch when placing the order. In the case of failed delivery due to delivery area, the Customer will be charged shipping for both dispatches.
• Customers are responsible for all fees incurred by shipping on their carrier account. If unpaid by the Customer, these fees will typically be billed to Bumble and Birch, and charged to the Customer's credit account at a later date.
• Requests for special handling, packaging, labeling, or notifications may incur an additional handling fee.
• Orders ship complete unless otherwise requested. Customers are responsible for any additional shipping charges on split shipments if requested.
Cancellations
• Cancellation requests made within 1 business day of order placement will be accepted.
• Cancellation requests made after 1 business day of order placement will be denied.
Returns/Exchanges
• Due to the handmade and custom nature of Bumble and Birch products, all sales are final. Items cannot be returned or exchanged.
• If items were damaged during shipment, please contact Bumble and Birch within 3 business days of order receipt.
• In the rare event of a missing item, please contact Bumble and Birch within 3 business days of order receipt.
Artwork Exclusivity
• All artwork/designs “Designs” in which the Customer holds copyright will remain exclusive to the Customer unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both the Customer and the Seller.
• Designs in which Bumble and Birch holds copyright will remain exclusive to Bumble and Birch, LLC and Bumble and Birch may choose to reuse Designs, in whole or in part, for any purpose, including but not limited to: physical goods, publications and press releases, and digital products.
• If Bumble and Birch creates Designs on the Customer’s behalf, the Customer may request to purchase exclusive rights to the Designs by contacting Brianna at info@bumbleandbirch.com.
• An inquiry requesting exclusive rights to Bumble and Birch Designs does not guarantee exclusivity for the Customer until a written agreement is signed and payments are processed accordingly.
Publications and Confidentiality
• Bumble and Birch reserves the right to document, photograph, video, and post on social media and/or forums any non-sensitive/confidential manufacturing processes and/or non-sensitive items associated with your request, such as the order fulfillment processes, images and/or video of the finished Goods, etc. unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• Both the Customer and Bumble and Birch agree that all confidential, sensitive, and/or proprietary information including but not limited to: customer/seller data, artwork and/or design files, technical specifications, finances and/or costs, or any other confidential interactions, shall not be disclosed to any parties or in any outside public or private communications of any sort, unless otherwise required by law.
To obtain an account with Net 30 Day payment terms, we require that each customer places an initial prepaid order. After the prepaid order has been placed, credit terms may be requested.
Once credit is established, the customer listed on this application (herein Customer) may place orders with Net 30 terms. The best method of submitting orders is via email to info@bumbleandbirch.com.
Payment is due within 30 days of the order shipping. At 31 days, a 2% fee with a minimum of $5 is applied monthly on the overdue balance.
In the event of collection, the Customer pays all costs and attorney fees.
The Customer must be able to accept invoices by postal mail or email.
By requesting net terms, the Customer agrees to all wholesale terms and to authorize all named bank references, and any credit reporting agencies, to verify any information and to disclose any information which may bear upon credit worthiness.
